PHOTOSHOP CS4/CS5- STAGE THREE - ADVANCED
The three LINE+LIGHT Photoshop days are designed to be taken sequentially. They are a great way of filling the holes in your knowledge, and to making your pictures look their very best.
In Photoshop Stage Three- Advanced- we pull together all that we have learned in Stages One and Two and take it even further to give you a creative edge which you can use for complex editing and image enhancement. Line+Light clients who have completed our previous Photoshop training series (2008-11) may be able to drop into this day to give them extra power to their fingertips. If you're an experienced Photoshop user submitting images for photo-club awards or magazine submissions, this final day will give your photos the 'finish' you seek.
Amongst many topics covered
- Advanced Layer features such as Layer Modes which may be used for many tasks like correcting wrongly exposed pictures more effectively than using levels & curves etc
- Using Blend to control interaction of Layers
- Portraiture- controlling skin/tone blemishes etc
- Image repair and retouching
- Strengthen skies on landscapes convincingly
- Advanced sharpening techniques/hi-pass filters
- Artificial aging/quality conversion to sepia and other arthouse styles
- Combining images- artistic montage
- Using smart objects
and much much more.......
If you have Photoshop installed on your laptop, do bring it with you on the day. Expect to take notes to compliment those we give you. This is an intensive day, but the perfect finish to your training with us, ensuring your photo finishing skills will serve your photographic activities well for years. Owners of CS4 and CS5 will enjoy this series of days best- if you own an earlier version of the software, you are welcome to join us but may find that some of the features have since been upgraded and may struggle to enjoy all that the course covers.
