HOW TO USE ADOBE ELEMENTS 10
STAGE 3 - ADVANCED

The three Adobe Elements 10 days are designed to be taken sequentially. There is more to learn about Elements than simply how the various tools and features work; and our training teaches you how to use these together to make your images sing!

The Elements 10 - Stage Three day consolidates all that we've learned so far, using the Organizer and Edit suite together to create projects such as slide shows, exporting your images to the web and protecting their copyright, printing, and for those who like the idea of entering camera club competitions, or submitting shots to magazines, we cover some really sophisticated tools such as Layers to make your images top notch!

Amongst many topics covered -

  • Introducing Layers (not seen in earlier versions of the software) and the power they bring to image manipulation
  • 'Enhance' tool in greater depth
  • Correct ways to output to print- using inkjet papers and their varying surfaces
  • Projects such as making slide shows & calendars
  • Uploading to the web using on-line programmes such as flickr & social networking applications
  • Learning to protect your images by using watermarking and 'file info'
  • Portraiture - controlling skin tone/blemishes etc
  • Image repair and retouching
  • Artificial ageing/quality conversion to sepia and other arthouse techniques

and much, much more..........

If you have Adobe Elements installed on your laptop, do bring it with you to the course. Expect to take notes to supplement those we give you. Users of earlier versions of Elements (6,7,8) will find Layers absent on their software. You are welcome to join us but expect to find gaps in the section that this day covers.
