HOW TO USE ADOBE ELEMENTS 10 - STAGE 2
INTERMEDIATE
The three LINE+LIGHT Adobe Elements 10 days are designed to be taken sequentially. There is more to learn about Elements than simply how the various tools and features work; and our training teaches you how to use these together to make your pictures look their very best.
Our Elements 10 - Stage two day concentrates on working on your pictures in FULL EDIT mode, which is Elements' cut-down, but powerful equivalent of the full version of Photoshop CS5.
Amongst many topics covered -
- The Menus
- The toolbox - inc hidden power of tools such as zoom, crop, hand etc
- The palettes
- File types - what they are, and which to use, where
- Re-sizing your image and understanding resolution and optimum resolution for print/web etc
- Cropping / straightening your pictures
- Adjusting image perspective to straighten verticals
- Basic cloning to remove spots / dust & unwanted objects
- Basic image adjustment - levels, hue, saturation etc
- Image toning - for that old-fashioned look
- Sharpening your images- when where & why
and much, much more ......
If you have Elements installed on your laptop, do bring it with you. Please bring a note book and pen to supplement the notes we give you on the day. Users of Elements 9 & 10 will best enjoy this course, although PC and MAC users with earlier versions (6,7,8) will find many similarities and be able to follow quite easily. As we move towards use of Layers, only owners of version 9 and 10 will be able to follow this part of the course, although you are still very welcome to join us.
