Adobe Elements – Stage 1

The two LINE+LIGHT Photoshop Elements 14/15 days are designed to be taken sequentially. There is more to learn about Elements than simply how the various tools and features work; our training teaches you how to use these together to make your pictures look their very best!

Adobe Elements is getting closer to the full version of Adobe Photoshop CC. It is remarkably good value by comparison, including, as it does, many of the more advanced features of its big brother which costs almost ten times as much. Like full Photoshop though, you need to give time to learning its many features- you won’t regret it!

Our Elements 14/15 – Stage One day is designed for absolute beginners to the programme.

Amongst many topics covered

  • The Elements Interface
  • How the Organizer can be used to sort and quickly identify your pictures
  • Importing and saving photos
  • A quick look at the less effective, simplified ‘basic’ image adjustment features
  • First steps to the FULL EDIT mode- by far the most useful tool for improving your images

Raw processing and much much more.

If you have Elements installed on your laptop, do bring it with you. Expect to take notes to compliment those we give you. We are demonstrating Elements 15, although if you have earlier versions of the software, you are still welcome to join us. Since Elements 9 there has been a paralell interface for MAC users in Organizer. All users of version 10 or earlier will find a difference though in the ‘look’ of certain pallettes, but should be able to follow the course. If you have Elements 10 or earlier, we strongly urge an upgrade before enrolling.
