DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - STAGE 1
The first of two days designed to take newcomers to digital photography – or those with holes in their knowledge – from the very beginning to where they can feel comfortable with their camera and create great pictures.
The day includes:
- Understanding your camera controls.
- Understanding ISO and the impact on your pictures when altered.
- Getting the correct exposure and using features such as Tv and Av exposure control.
- The pros and cons of wide angle, telephoto and zoom lenses and when and how to use them.
- The effect the f number setting has on your pictures.
- Understanding workflow, backing up and archiving your images.
- Understanding jpg, tiff and raw file types and their differences and uses.
Weather permitting; the course will include taking shots outdoors and viewing them with the group.
