DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - STAGE 2
The second of two days designed to take newcomers to digital photography – or those with holes in their knowledge – from fine tuning the technical skills which we introduced on the first course, to compostional (and therefore creative) control to make really GREAT pictures.
The day includes:
- A recap on the correct use of aperture and shutter speeds
- How to compose an image for maximum impact.
- How to use wide angle, zoom and telephoto lenses creatively.
- Understanding and controlling depth of field.
- Understanding the colour of light and how it affects your pictures.
- Using on-camera flash.
- Using RAW as a choice for shooting
- Advice on choosing your post production software and archiving your images.
Weather permitting we spend much of the afternoon out and about putting our skills into practice with an opportunity to view the shots taken with the group.
DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR EQUIPMENT!
