On this page we introduce you to one off special events for LINE+LIGHT guests, or to bring your attention to courses which run at specific times of year.

NEW COURSES

New for 2012 we have our ‘IMAGE ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP’, and ‘HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH TRANSPORT HERITAGE’ at Crich Tramway village.

‘IMAGE ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP’

We've been listening to LINE+LIGHT clients who have told us they'd like some feedback about the pictures that they've taken on our days, and also their general personal work. We've made a day based around participants bringing in their own images for lively debate, with tips on how to improve composition, style and technique in the future, and also demonstrate how to refine existing images using Photoshop CS5 or Adobe Elements software. We'll be running these days regularly on Saturdays throughout the year and anticipate that photographers will attend more than once as they strive to improve their images.

‘HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH TRANSPORT HERITAGE’

With our own static tram for the day, together with special access to the restoration workshop, we anticipate unrivalled photographic opportunites at this stunning location. Hop on board with us!

CHRISTMAS PHOTOGRAPHY

If you fancy some thing to look forward to, Newstead Abbey will be dressed for the season, and our only course of the year will be held at Lord Byron's beautiful home on Friday December 7th. Expect Victorian theming and lovely photographic opportunities in this grand old house.
