BIRDS OF PREY - FALCONRY EXPERIENCE DAY
FRIDAY 20TH MARCH 2009

Photographers from as far apart as Birmingham and Worksop converged on our falconer’s field for a great day of photography.

Our guests ranged in experience levels from a wildlife photographer more used to shooting eagles in Finland - to someone who has only recently purchased their first digital SLR.

Blessed with excellent weather, and during a very busy day, we managed to photograph a dozen or so of the twenty birds provided by our falconer. These ranged from indigenous species such as hawks and merlins, to more exotic birds like a Golden Eagle.

In the afternoon, our guests had the opportunity to capture flying sequences with a Barn Owl and the Eurasian Eagle Owl before setting off home.

Our next BIRDS OF PREY day is October 11th - there is a place waiting for you. Book now to avoid disappointment.
