Robert Rowe – Bob to his friends – has been teaching Adobe Photoshop and Elements to photographers for over fifteen years and has been a photographer for almost fifty! Professionally, he has worked as a radio producer for the BBC and as an award winning video producer for corporate clients.
Many hundreds of pro and amateur photographers have benefited from his one-to-one Photoshop training – and many thousands have attended his Photoshop and Lightroom seminars across the UK. He has run training courses for major clients such as the Calumet Photographic retail chain as well as running Line + Light’s Photoshop programme since its inception.
Robert has written on Photoshop for several photo magazines including Practical Photography and Digital Photo – and his images have featured in exhibitions and competitions across the UK and beyond.
He is a past President of the Nottingham and Notts Photographic Society and is one of the few people since their inception in 1892, to be made a life Honorary Member for his services to the Society.
An Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, Robert, along with the late Barrie Thomas and others – was a founder member of the RPS Digital Imaging Group, now the largest group within the Society. In November 2009, Robert was honoured by the Royal Photographic Society, when he was presented with the FENTON MEDAL, for his services to Digital Photography. He attended the annual awards ceremony at the Royal Society in London, where other luminaries of the photographic world were also presented with titles, including Annie Leibovitz!
Robert is experienced in many types of photography – and is renowned for his easy going, clear teaching style.
