DAYS OUT- IN THE CITY STAGES 1 & 2

Nottingham Castle, Castle Place, Nottingham, NG1 6EL

Nottingham Castle stands on a high sandstone cliff in the the centre of the city of Nottingham, a three minute walk west from the Old Market Square.

With regard to your travel arrangements, we suggest the use of public transport if you are local as most city and county buses terminate within 250 metres of the Castle Gates. The nearest NCP car park is on Mount Street, a one minute stroll from the gates. Nottingham rail station is a 10 minute walk,  and the most economical carparking in the whole of the city currently is the multi-storey adjacent to Nottingham station (but do bear in mind the ten minute walk with your gear). At the Gatehouse, announce yourself to the attendant who will direct you up the hill to our room STUDIO 2, which has its own separate entrance on the main driveway on the west side of the building.
