
ROBERT ROWE ARPS CPAGB
Robert Rowe ARPS – Bob to his friends – has been teaching Adobe Photoshop - and latterly, Lightroom - for photographers professionally for over ten years and a photographer for over forty!
Many hundreds of both pro and amateur photographers have benefited from his one-to-one Photoshop training – and many thousands have attended his Photoshop and Lightroom seminars across the UK.
He has run training courses for major clients such as the Calumet Photographic retail chain – and taught Photoshop at photo experience organisations such as Lakeland Photographic Holidays and the Inversnaid Photographic Centre near Loch Lomond.
Robert has written on Photoshop for several photo magazines including Practical Photography and Digital Photo - and his images have featured in exhibitions and competitions across the UK and beyond.
An Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, Robert, along with the late Barrie Thomas and others – was a founder member of the RPS Digital Imaging Group, now the largest group within the Society.
He is a past President of the Nottingham and Notts Photographic Society – the largest photo club in the East Midlands – and is one of the few people since the Society’s inception in 1892, to be made a life Honorary Member for his services to the Society.
In November 2009, Robert was honoured by the Royal Photographic Society, when he was presented with the FENTON MEDAL, for his services to Digital Photogprahy. As one of the founder members of the society's Digital Imaging Group, he attended the annual awards ceremony at the Royal Society in London, where other luminaries of the photogaphic world were also presented with titles, including Annie Leibovitz!
Robert is experienced in many types of photography – and is renowned for his easy going, clear teaching style.
